Gefühle – eine Gedanken Reise

When Johanna Kappauf isn’t enchanting audiences on the stage of the Münchner Kammerspiele or spinning pirouettes on the ice rink, she writes poetry.
In these poems, the actress Johanna Kappauf puts the roller-coaster rides of her thoughts down on paper.
Sometimes this helps untangle a knot that forms in her thoughts and feelings. The poems deal with everyday life, with seemingly small encounters and situations, with subtle and fleeting self-observations.
A few of her poems have already been published, for example in the “Wortfinder Kalender.”
At the Schwabing City Library, Johanna Kappauf, together with musician Florian Burgmayr and actress Sina Leinweber, takes us on a journey through her thoughts.

The musical reading is part of the event series: Accessible Stories and Poetry
Language can be many things, for example: poetic, light, performative, complex, spoken, signed, in letters, or in Braille.
The Münchner Kammerspiele and the Munich City Library invite you to an inclusive series of events that brings this diversity of language to life.
Over four evenings, authors and artists with and without disabilities will read, perform, and sign stories and poetry.
We’ll enjoy the texts in a relaxed atmosphere with delicious snacks.

The rooms are wheelchair-accessible and barrier-free.

The event will be interpreted into German Sign Language.
