with Anna Lerchbaumer, Eyries, Epilog, Daniel Door & Mira Mann
This concert series presents powerful positions in contemporary experimental pop music. The new episode of Intimacy Quarterly is dedicated to everyday, often overlooked situations and materials—and reveals their poetic potential.
Viennese (sound) artist Anna Lerchbaumer works with electromagnetic frequencies and explores the stage space with coils and antennas. This creates immersive and playful spaces of experience. Eyries are “Munich’s newest experimental brass outfit” and draw their inspiration from nature. They trace it with woodwind instruments, synthesizers, and electronica. Their warm sound textures are both melancholic and light. Eyries will present their first joint release this evening: the EP “Polarity” will be released on March 13, 2026. Epilog is the experimental pop music project of interdisciplinary artist Véra Marie Deubner from Leipzig. Epilog tells small, intimate stories and paints surreal soundscapes in the guise of avant-pop. And in doing so, it repeatedly gets caught up in fragments of thought. Epilog plays ambient, trap, dream pop – a narrative voice zooms in on everyday scenarios and brings them to life.
The DJ for the evening is Munich’s finest sound artist Daniel Door. He will be DJing at the Tam Tam Treppenbar at the start of the evening. Intimacy Quarterly host Mira Mann will present a new poem and a cover version of the classic Good Sister, Bad Sister by Hole – produced by Tiger Tiger.
