Walter Hess and Verena Rendtorff explore “When melancholy is inspiring, where light shines in the darkness, why depth can be warming, why optimization dehumanizes us.” A Touch of Darkness is an attempt to let the dark strings sound and illuminate – to let poetry shine – to weave words with sound and movement. They are accompanied musically in this endeavor.
