We set the scene in Bogenhausen’s Möhlstraße and follow the traces of the She’erit Hapletah (“remnant of the saved”) between 1945 and 1950. Through photographs, contemporary texts, and creative writing methods, we approach the complex reality of the postwar period. How can we write about the past, trauma, and new beginnings? How does fiction generate empathy? We work with quotations, voices, and fragments—individually and collectively.

Followed by a group visit to the performance of “Zeit ohne Gefühle” at 7:30 p.m.
