With combative gestures, biting humour, and a heavy dose of irony, Christiane Rösinger’s agitpop revue deconstructs the “myth of the middle class”, examines class affiliations, and grapples with the buzzword that is “classism”. Along with her diverse ensemble, Rösinger – a columnist for the Berlin newspaper taz, founder of the Lassie Singers, daughter of smallholders, and all-round Berlin cultural heavyweight – follows in the footsteps of Erwin Piscator’s proletarian REVUE ROTER RUMMEL with a perfectly balanced blend of entertainment and in-depth analysis of (class) relations today. The performers include Austrian author and satirist Stefanie Sargnagel and writer Paula Irmschler, alongside other experts on “escape routes”. A musical evening featuring a live band that will leave the audience with a resonant vision of collective solidarity.
