The hall went wild and the applause could be heard as far away as Munich-Giesing when the Munich Symphony Orchestra and members of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble performed a joint inclusion concert for the first time. At last there was a show for everyone - with classical music, pop hits and Disney hits! The concert for World Down Syndrome Day 2024 even won a prize: the German Orchestra Foundation’s “Innovation Prize” for particularly good and fresh ideas. We’re now splashing the prize money on your head. Get ready for Masters of Inclusion part 2: the big summer gala. It will feature well-known and brand-new stars: Frangiskos Kakoulakis, Dennis Fell-Hernandez, Elias Krischke, Luisa Wöllisch, Maren Solty and the choir of the Freie Bühne München will sing melodies for the heart: musical hits and pop classics in orchestral versions. Fans of classical music will also get their money’s worth. And our special guest DJ Lopez is coming all the way from Ibiza to heat us up. DGS interpreters and deaf performers, who will also translate the music into sign language, will ensure accessibility. The concert will once again be conducted by Joseph Bastian, chief conductor of the Munich Symphony Orchestra. Luisa Wöllisch, Maren Solty and Nur Sera Beysun will lead through the evening: in German spoken language, translated into sign language.

In cooperation with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, Lebenshilfe München and the LMU, Chair of Mental Development, supported by Aktion Mensch. Funded by „pik – Programm für inklusive Kunstpraxis“ of Kulturstiftung des Bundes.
