Are you interested in love, queerness, longing, loneliness and identity?

Friday 2025/6/6
Intimacy Workshop
„Love on stage“
4pm – 7pm

Using the classic play “What You Want” as an example, the workshop focuses on the intimacy between the characters in one scene. To this end, we use methods of intimacy coordination. Using somatic exercises, we will find our way into our bodies, learn to name our boundaries and develop the framework for an intimate scene in small groups. Important: at no point in the workshop is it expected that intimate acts are performed, rather we learn to work with what everyone offers.

Saturday 2025/6/7
writing workshop
“Sound and word”
12am – 6pm

In the writing workshop, we get to the bottom of many questions about love, based on the Kammerspiele play “Was ihr wollt”. We will explore: What does it actually mean for us humans to love? Who can we connect with when the world is so chaotic? And what about love in theater and art?

Through various writing exercises, we will try to approach the topic textually and perhaps discover how differently people perceive love.

Excerpts from the workshop will then be combined with the previously recorded sound elements in the recording studio.

Sound installation workshop
„Sound and word“
12am – 6pm

What does love actually sound like?
In the sound installation workshop, we will use recording devices to collect sounds and noises around the theater.
Where do we find what sounds like love to us? Is it the knocking on the stage in the theater or the rattling of the banisters? Maybe it's the wind rustling through the leaves of the trees? With all the sounds we have collected, we will mix them into a song in the Kammerspiele recording studio and combine them with the results of the writing workshop.
