Neophytes, also often referred to as invasive weeds, are plants that are not historically native to Germany. They have found their way to Germany from a wide variety of regions and have remained.

In the other garden (UdK Berlin), artist Işıl Eğrikavuk gives them a home. The other garden makes visible what connects us humans with plants. The other garden now has a second station on Maximilianstrasse. Here, too, the other garden is intended to be a place of arrival and initiate discourse on (bio)diversity, ecology and care ¬- The message is clear: an invasion of Munich’s luxury shopping mile.
