A concert series for powerful positions in contemporary experimental pop music
In the second episode, we focus on the body, its expressive potential, the stories that lie within it and those that can only be told with it. Powerful, elastic, fragile - what narratives are contained in our most personal instrument and how can they be expressed?
Stina Force (SE) is making her German debut: as a one-woman punk band, raw and virtuoso on drums and vocals, she will ignite and calm us. Manuela La Jaguara, who lives in Munich, seeks ritual in sound. Host Mira Mann will open the evening with a long poem in cooperation with the Munich all-women* choir The Witches of Westend, who will perform more of their own compositions during the course of the evening. DJ RadiKarl will ensure that we are safe on this trip - open space - as always at Intimacy Quarterly.
In preparation for the evening, there will be a workshop with Pola Dobler (leader of The Witches of Westend) and Mira Mann, inviting people to write and sing poetry and, if interested, to actively participate in the concert evening.
