A production by MK:ollektiv
“We fear what may come and long for what is to come, as if what awaits us has not already begun.”
Ever been in the waiting room?
Life is a waiting room, because everyone is always waiting.
Six strangers sit at one time, in one place, in one room. They wait together, alone. They look at the clock, look at each other, look away. Thinking quietly, thinking out loud.
And they are a small section of society, they are supposedly all different - but what happens when you start to share in their thoughts? When you move away from what you only see from the outside in the waiting room?
Because you will realize that all six of them are waiting for the right thing, although sometimes they don’t even know what that actually is.
And they will get somewhere at some point - we believe - but of course you can never be completely sure.

The MK:ollektiv is back with a new play! In “Aber ganz sicher sein kann man sich natürlich nie sein”, 25 young people talk about the stories, dreams, hopes and fears of the current times. A time full of possibilities and excessive demands, somewhere between freedom and being lost.
Look forward to an evening as absurd as our world, full of play, dance, song and vulnerability. Will you wait with us?
