Intimacy Quarterly

Intimacy Quarterly focuses on the connection between private and political issues. It follows the conviction that risk-taking experimentation in a protected space reveals possible courses of action for dealing with the crises and violence of our time.
At the first edition in the Werk*raum, the performance collective Discoteca Flaming Star (feat. Thomas Lempertz) will present “Love Any Out of (90 Seconds) End”. The two Munich musicians Teresa Allgaier and Juri Kannheiser aka Kontai Ensemble will perform four new, unpublished pieces for violin and cello and the musician and slam poet Aylin Celik will close the evening with her soulful tracks. Celik’s first album full of good vibes with a gentle punch will be released in March 2025. Munich-based artist and activist Jesaja Song is the DJ for the evening, while host Mira Mann opens with a new interpretation of Prince’s classic “Die 4 You” and a new long poem.
