As part of the exhibition Global Munich. In Perspective we cordially invite you to an Artist Talk with the artists of the exhibition. Hêlîn Alas, Aydin Alinejad, Sofia Dona, Jeanno Gaussi, Nikolai Gümbel, Narges Kalhor and Franziska Windolf will talk to Dîlan Z. Çapan (Habibi Kiosk), Burcu Doğramacı (global dis:connect) and Sophie Eisenried (curator/global dis:connect) about their works and the working process. There will also be the opportunity to talk (bilaterally) with the artists and curators and discuss the creation and content of the exhibition.
The exhibition Global Munich. In Perspective is based on the assumption that globalization means something different to many of us. The artists Hêlîn Alas, Aydin Alinejad, Sofia Dona, Jeanno Gaussi, Nikolai Gümbel, Narges Kalhor and Franziska Windolf tell their stories of globalization (in) the city of Munich.
With their different perspectives and stories, the artists critically draw attention to gaps in knowledge about Munich as a place of globalization. As part of the What is the City NOW? festival, we celebrate diverse perspectives on Munich together with the city’s population and ask: What does globalization mean to you?

The exhibition is presented by the Käte Hamburger Kolleg global dis:connect, which deals with questions of globalization.
Several people stand in a circle in the Habibi kiosk. A sculpture made of thick wire with various pendants hangs from the ceiling in the Mätte. A person with a microphone stands next to it and speaks.
