It took decades for the Liverpool attack to slowly enter the public consciousness as a right-wing terrorist attack. It was not an isolated incident. For decades, the Oktoberfest attack had to be fought over to be recognized as a right-wing terrorist attack. And the relatives and survivors of the attack at the OEZ have also been fighting for seven years now to remember, clarify and draw conclusions. What do these continuities and parallels say about the city of Munich? What does it mean for relatives and survivors when society’s silence about the crime subsides? What experiences do they have in the struggle to be seen and heard? What resistance do they experience?

On this evening, relatives and survivors of the right-wing terrorist attack at the OEZ on July 22, 2016 will be guests at the Habibi Kiosk and talk about their perspectives and experiences.
