An evening about empathy as a revolutionary force with the Chilean theater collective La Re-sentida
Director: Marco Layera
Chilean youths take the floor in this documentary theater evening: they are permanently educated to a masculinity that punishes and trains away fragility and affection. Sensitivity and empathy are interpreted as weakness. How is it possible to resist aggressiveness? After “Paisajes para no colorear” and “Oasis de la impunidad,” which were both shown at the Münchner Kammerspiele, the current work of the Chilean theater collective La Re-sentida turns to tenderness as a revolutionary force.
Following each performance, there will be an audience discussion at Therese-Giehse-Halle.
