Peter Brombacher

Peter Brombacher, born in Freiburg im Breisgau, was given his first engagement at the Schauspielhaus Bochum in 1963. Subsequently he appeared on numerous German-language stages, including the Schillertheater Berlin, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, the Schauspiel Frankfurt am Main, the Deutsche Schauspielhaus Hamburg, the Staatstheater Stuttgart as well as the Schauspielhaus Zürich.

Since 2004 Peter Brombacher has been a permanent member of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble where he has recently been seen in “Mjunik Disco” (directed by Stefan Pucher, 2011), “Wassa” (directed by Alvis Hermanis, 2012 and 2015), “Erklär mir, Leben” (directed by Thomas Schmauser, 2013), “King Lear” (directed by Johan Simons, 2013), “Seltsames Intermezzo” (directed by Ivo van Hove, 2013) and “Geschichten aus dem Wiener Wald” (directed by Stephan Kimmig, 2014). Since May 2015 Peter Brombacher has performed in “Mutter Courage und ihre Kinder” (directed by Thomas Schmauser).
