Nadia Fistarol studied architecture at the ETH in Zurich, pursued a training as actor at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York and subsequently worked as assistant stage designer at the Münchner Kammerspiele. Since 2006 she has worked as independent stage designer. She closely collaborates with the dance team pvc – Tanz Freiburg Heidelberg and Joachim Schlömer as well as with Felicitas Brucker, Daniel Cremer, Peter Kastenmüller and Simone Aughterlony. She has worked at the Theater Heidelberg, the Münchner Volkstheater, the Theaterhaus Gessnerallee Zürich, the HAU Berlin and the Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels as well as the Alkantra Festival in Lisbon, just to mention a few.
For some years she has closely collaborated with Alexander Giesche (“Der Perfekte Mensch”, “Lost”, “We disappear”, “World of Reason”, and other plays). During the 2015/16 season Fistarol and Giesche will cooperate in the project “Future Shock” and in “Yesterday you said tomorrow”.
