Julia Riedler


Julia Riedler, born 1990 in Salzburg, studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. She has worked as a performance curator for the MS Dockville Festival for Art and Music Hamburg and has been a member of the cobratheater.cobra artists’ network since 2009. In her final year Julia Riedler was engaged by the German Schauspielhaus Hamburg and in 2013, she received the Boy Gobert Young Talent Award for outstanding achievements in acting. From 2013 to 2015 she was a permanent member of the Schauspiel Köln, where she primarily worked with Stefan Bachmann and Robert Borgmann. She has taken on roles in various film and television productions in Austria and Germany and has worked as speaker for numerous radio plays, winning the audience award of the ARD’s German Radio Festival in 2014. Since the 2015/16 season, Julia Riedler has been a permanent ensemble member of the Münchner Kammerspiele and in 2016 she was awarded the Promotion Prize of the Association to support the Münchner Kammerspiele.

Starting with the 2015/16 season Julia Riedler is a permanent member of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble.
