Theatre, performances, readings, concerts, music – and everything in-between.

Werkraum

The Werkraum is our space of the future – a vibrant realm of possibilities for contemporary theatre: accessible, adaptable and in continuous dialogue with the audience and the city. Here, the boundaries between theatre, concerts, performance art, readings, club nights, cabaret and discourse become blurred. The Werkraum offers a space for unconventional ideas, new artistic voices and idiosyncratic configurations.

As a modular venue, the focus lies on emerging artists, directors, performers, collectives and collaborative projects involving the ensemble. This is a place where ideas can be tried out, discarded and reassembled; incompleteness is embraced as a productive tool – an invitation to engage in bold, forward-thinking innovation.
