Every two months, Kasper Konig meets selected artists and curators for a panel discussion. His guest in January is Lisa Endriß. Endriß, who was born in 1947 in Landshut and lives in Griesstätt, Upper Bavaria, paints large-scale works that play on ambiguities and paradoxes. She often finds her subjects in daily newspapers and social communication networks. From the daily flood of information, she filters out contradictions and absurdities in a manner that appears random yet is deliberate. Undisputedly, Kasper König is one of the international art scene’s outstanding personalities. For many years he was the director of renowned exhibition venues such as Portikus in Frankfurt am Main and the Museum Ludwig in Cologne. Most recently, Kasper König was the artistic director of the 4th edition of “Skultpur Projekte” in Münster.
